Whether you hear the lush harmonies live, or on their new Phil Nicolo-produced CD, The Lift and The Drag, Susan's sugar sweet melodies and Steph's throaty-rasp take each song on their own musical journey. Scooter's solid backbeat is a perfect fit with Jim's melodic base lines. Individual band member influences range from Tom Petty to Rage Against the Machine, which helps to explain the uniqueness of this band. Of course that also makes it difficult to give specific comparisons. What can they say? They've created a sound like no one else.
